Our Safety Measures for Disinfection During the COVID-19 Season
Ensuring sterilization and disinfection of our office has always been a top priority. This practice safeguards against potential disease transmission not only during this current outbreak but also throughout any viral season. Here are the established policies we have implemented:
- In our treatment rooms, we kindly request each patient to wash their hands in our presence, using soap and water, for a minimum of 20 seconds. This precautionary measure is in place for everyone's safety.
- At the start of each visit, our staff and doctors conscientiously wash their hands in the presence of the patient. This practice is part of our standard procedure to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Following treatments, our instruments undergo cleaning in two designated areas. The first cleaning occurs in the treatment room by our assistants. The second phase takes place in the sterilization room, conducted by our sterilization assistant. This meticulous process is carried out under 2.5X magnification to ensure thorough sterilization.
- We maintain a strict disinfection routine for all communal areas, including door handles, knobs, public surfaces in treatment rooms, reception areas, front desk spaces, bathroom faucets, toilet handles, seats, and more. These areas undergo frequent disinfection several times throughout the day to uphold a clean and safe environment for everyone.
- For each patient, we adhere to a policy of utilizing fresh masks and gloves. This practice ensures that every patient interaction is conducted with new, unused protective gear, prioritizing hygiene and safety.
- We diligently cover all surfaces, hoses, and electronic equipment with plastic wrap. This protective measure involves changing the plastic wrap between patients, maintaining a pristine and hygienic environment for each individual visit.
- We highly encourage both our esteemed patients and our staff to refrain from touching their faces as a precautionary measure. This practice aids in minimizing potential contact and helps maintain a hygienic environment.
- If you're feeling unwell, we kindly ask you to reschedule your appointment with us. Additionally, any patient or staff member displaying symptoms of illness will be asked to return home as part of our precautionary measures.
